Welcome to English Bicknor C. of E. School. We are a Church of England school and have strong links with St. Mary's Church. 

The strength of our school lies with the teachers and staff who work together to create a climate where children feel happy, confident and secure. This in turn will enable children to be receptive to the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to achieve their full academic potential. Education has seen enormous changes in recent years and we have grown and developed as a school, whilst preserving our identity as an open, friendly community with a clear focus on children’s needs and interests. We believe it is essential to enthuse children so that they are given a platform for life long learning and this has been celebrated by OFSTED, who gave the school a ‘Good’ with aspects of 'Outstanding' in May 2023.

Children are encouraged to participate fully in school life and to be responsible for contributing to an ethos where every member feels valued, respected and has a sense of purpose. The school recognises the importance of partnership and wants parents to play an active role in their child’s development throughout their primary years.
